FMS was incorporated as a Private Limited Liability Company under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in May 2001. The Company is primarily involved in the provision of delivery logistics for the downstream sector of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry. In 2005, Precision Logistics Ltd (PLL) was incorporated as subsidiary Company to FMS to provide procurement and Engineering Services to the upstream sector of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry. PLL in February 2014, fulfilled all the requirements for ISO 9001 – 2008 certification and is currently an ISO 9001 – 2008 certified Company.
Following the success realized in the Oil and Gas business, FMS made a strategic decision to expand its operations into Agriculture in 2009 and positioned herself for future opportunities by incorporating a subsidiary agribusiness (FMS Farms Ltd) that will aggressively take advantage of opportunities in the emerging commercial agricultural landscape in West Africa.
FMS has since diversified into various sectors of the Nigerian economy thus evolving into the FMS Group.
